A while back I developed my own unique approach to assisting people who want to stop smoking permanently. Believe it or not the technique that I now use with my clients grew out of my own desire to stop smoking! In the past I tried several different methods to stop, all with no success. I'm not ashamed to admit that I got to the point where I was leaning on my wife's shoulder nearly in tears one evening because I didn't know what to do!


At that moment I decided enough was enough; it was time to get my thinking cap on. I rolled up my sleeves and started to break apart my own smoking habit using the knowledge and skills I'd learned as a psychotherapist in order to see what my smoking habit was actually made of! My findings completely changed the way I felt about smoking FOREVER and I'm very pleased to say that I have never looked back.


As someone who used to smoke I fully appreciate the difficulties that you may be experiencing with regards to stopping smoking. For this reason I'm very passionate about helping people like you to stub it out once and for all. You don't want to just stop smoking; you want to stop smoking permanently! Not only that but you also want to be able to carry on with your life as it is and not have to make any changes or sacrifices to how you live. You also want to be able to get on with your life without feeling haunted by your old habit.

I used to think that once you were a smoker, even if you stopped you'd be plagued by thoughts about smoking for the rest of you life! Guess what? Some people are! They simply haven't resolved their smoking habit; they've literally forced themselves to quit. You don't need to force yourself to do anything - you just need to change the way that you think and feel about it, that's all.

How the Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy Session Works...


In order to help you quit smoking permanently we need to understand why you’ve had difficulty in the past to stop using other methods, find out why they didn’t work – and then NOT do that! From there we can explore the tried and tested methods employed by people who have become successful non-smokers so that you never smoke again…and feel great about it. It doesn’t matter if you’re quitting cigarettes, pipes, or cigars, the same fundamental principals apply to them all.


The session is divided into three parts. We begin with a cognitive behavioural look at how successful smoking cessation works, then we explore the brain-science of smoking, and finally culminate with a powerful hypnosis session to help you on your way. You may be wondering what all this cognitive behavioural stuff is about – don’t worry, we won’t be digging into your past or talking about your relationship with your parents! To put it simply, in cognitive behavioural therapy we explore how the mind works so that you can know how to work with your mind rather than against it, as so often happens when people try to quit smoking.


Two of the most powerful and important tools in behavioural change are knowledge and self-insight. To further impact the session we’ll look at the neuroscience of smoking so that you can get a deep understanding of what led you to smoke in the first place, and why you continued to smoke in spite of all those government health warnings. We then end with a powerful yet relaxing hypnosis session in which we recap many of the important points covered in the initial part of the session and lodge them deep in your unconscious mind, helping you to overcome your habit once and for all.


You could look at it like this: In the Eastwood Approach to Successful Smoking Cessation we work on both your conscious mind and your unconscious mind so that we can double your capacity for success. I personally believe that this is one of the best stop smoking hypnotherapy programs out there and if I managed to stop myself smoking I’m confident that you can do it too.


Sessions usually last anywhere between 1 - 2 hrs and are charged at £120. Please be aware that you will be charged a full cancellation fee if you cancel less than 24hrs before the appointment.
